We have a heartbeat
I had another OB appointment today. I'm now 10 weeks along and he was able to find the heartbeat after a minute or so of trying. Even though I've been through this before, the miracle of it all still amazes me. My blood pressure was not as high as last week, but still a little high. He didn't mention it during the appointment and told me to come back in four weeks. By the time I got to work, the nurse had left me a message that the doc wants me to come in again next week to get it checked. I appreciate that he's being thorough, but I sure hope this blood pressure thing doesn't become an issue. I guess we'll see. I've been really sick to my stomach since this morning, but I'm happy that I got the hear the peanut's heartbeat. Maybe I can relax now.

That is always such a relief to hear. Congrats on you growing healthy baby!
That was my favorite part of being pregnant - hearing their hearts during the monthly/weekly visits. Just amazing!

I just clued into the fact you are due Aug 20th, my baby is due July 20th. I too find I'm way more stressed and worried this time then I have ever been, I'm not sure why. Last time I was there I heard the heartbeat on the ultrasound but she couldn't get it just on my belly with the doppler. So when I go next time I hope she does, I mean I seen the baby jumping around in there but because she couldn't hear it I have been worried for the last couple weeks. Maybe it's my age and because of the risk the older you get it has me more scared of everything, I'm already getting nervous about the delivery !
