I totally got lazy last week and never posted. Well, maybe lazy isn't the word since I'm so stinking BUSY! I actually started a post but never got a chance to finish it. Anyway, I'm still flying by the seat of my pants on this weight loss thing. I've been making better choices, but haven't weighed recently. No exercise. Nothing I can really say about that except to say that I feel strongly that I will not be successful until I can make exercise a consistent part of my life. My husband keeps reminding me that I'm in a time in my life that is very hectic. I won't have a toddler forever. Also, summer is coming and we can do more fun things to incorporate exercise, like going to the park. I also won't have to get the 7 year old up for school soon, which means that time can go towards exercise.
On April 1st I'm beginning the Go Fresh 11 week Initiative on Raw Food Rehab. I've written about feeling drawn to the raw food way of eating. I feel like I could be happy on a high raw diet with a little cooked food here and there. This initiative will give me the education that I've been looking for on my journey. I'm so excited that I can't wait for April 1st to get here.
I'd like to say congrats to all the Mamavation finalists. I have a lot of respect for anyone willing to put themself out there like that. It takes a lot of courage and all of the applicants should be proud.

It's tough, but you can do it!
Take it one day at a time, with the exercise thing. Eventually, it'll get easier.
Glad you're back this week! I know how you feel when it comes to working and mommying. It feels too hard to "exercise" because it sounds like such a chore, but like you said summertime activities can be healthy and fun! Let us know how the raw diet goes, I'm very interested!!
Glad to see you! I am curious to see how the raw food goes for you. I love raw food, but am not sure I could give up my broiled or baked fish and veggies. I bet you will feel amazing though.
Thanks for your kind words. Being an applicant is hard. I feel like my heart is on my sleeve.
Have a great week!
Welcome back! :)
Raw food diet is something I never thought of trying. Keep us updated with how it goes.
Have a great week!
Lo
Thank you for mentioning the raw food initiative you are doing soon. I am wanting to increase my raw uptake with the local harvests about to take place soon. This week we are doing a Diana Stobo recipe but I want to be at 50% raw soon. Good luck to you as you make your exercise more consistent.
You can do this. Don't give up. Sometimes it's one day at a time. Sometimes it's one hour at a time. I think we're all really looking forward to warmer weather and mornings where we don't have to rush around. :)
I totally hear you on the toddler subject. Hectic does not even start to describe it! I think anyone that has enough strength to even THINK about making healthy choices after running around with a toddler all day deserves much respect.
I've been interested in raw food, although have been very hesitant to try it, since I know that I would be all by myself with it at home, which would be very hard. I look forwward to reading about your experience. Is your hubby eating raw also?
Have a great week!
