Ive gotten to the point that im just throwing everything out. saturday is clean up day, and IM still wondering why we do it, since at about 1pm, its all back the way it was before we started. you should see my kitchen floor, at this point i need a steamer.

I could have written this post - it sounds just like my life. I am always wondering how these moms do it. Everything is a mess here and I can't keep up at all either. It really gets me down sometimes. There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day to get stuff done. I hope you feel better knowing that there are other moms out there like me that can't keep up either! ;)

P.S. My mom lives next door to me in an in-law apt attached to our house. She helps me non-stop with everything (cooking, cleaning, laundry, watching the kids) and the BOTH of us working non-stop can't keep up!

If you want to see those things then come on over! My house is a zoo. I spend most of the weekend cleaning and by Tuesday it is destroyed and I don't have the energy to nag anymore. On that note I ran into a high school friend today, someone I hadn't seen in years. She stopped me and it took me longer than was nice to recognize her because she looked so old. When the hell did we all get so old? I really thought deep down somewhere that I still looked like I did in High School.

I can't keep up, either! As a matter of fact, I was formulating a similar blog post just this morning as I took my kids to school and thought about the impending arrival of the in-laws tomorrow night. Part of me wants the house to look nice and tidy for them, the other part just doesn't have the energy to care.
